A true British classic. A delicious disc of stamped liquorice. Not too sweet, not too savoury and loaded with liquorice loveliness. There are many imitators but we only stock the original Pontefract Cake, now made by Haribo but to the original secret recipe, once called a Pomfret and made for medicinal purposes. In fact Haribo UK is based in Pontefract, Yorkshire. Bet you didn't know that !
