Handy Candy Ltd is one of the original online sweet shops, and has been trading online since 2004. Our company registration number is 05667395 and our VAT registration number is 837 0669 07.
We are registered with the ICO and have Data Protection Certification. We also have extended website security monitored and verified by Cloudflare, one of the most trusted names in the field.

How Do I Use Your site?
Shopping at Handy Candy is really easy. As you look through our store you can click to add items to your basket. When you've finished shopping you simply proceed to the checkout where we will take all the details we need from you to process your order. Once you have successfully placed your order you will receive an order confirmation email from us – this is sent immediately. When your order leaves us you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.
Orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri (working days only) are usually dispatched the same day.
If you experience any difficulties using the site, whether you're buying or just looking, please do let us know and we'll look into it.
How will my Items be Dispatched ?
Delivery charges are at cost price or cheaper, ensuring you get maximum value for money. For full details of our delivery rates see our delivery information page
Our products show an approximate weight for the total package. This is a guide only to help our customers keep track of the delivery charge. This is not the exact weight of goods you will receive. Exact quantities and weights for an individual item are shown in each product description so you know exactly what you will get.
As per the dispatch email we send customers when their order leaves us, we strongly recommend that you follow up after three working days if your order hasn't been received. Please refer to your dispatch email for full details on how to do this.
When packing our products we make every attempt to ensure that they will arrive in pristine condition by packaging them well. We use strong postal boxes, shock-absorbing space filler and protective sheaths for goods in glass jars. If any of your products are broken/damaged and cannot be used then notify us within seven working days of receipt.
How do I Store My Sweets?
Upon receipt, to ensure your purchases remain in the very best condition, we strongly recommend that you follow the specific storage instructions for each individual product and consume within the best before date.
Out of Stock
If your product is temporarily out of stock we will let you know how long it will be before it's available with the option to choose an alternative or cancel your order. If you want to wait for your chosen item then we will hold your order until it can be sent in its entirety.
Allergy Information
All ingredients are listed in the individual products descriptions. Due to the wide range of products we stock, imported from around the world, we cannot guarantee that our products are free of nuts or nut traces.
VAT
All prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%. If you are ordering from and delivering to a country where VAT is not applicable, the order value will be adjusted to reflect this when you check out. You will see a full VAT breakdown on your confirmation email, and a VAT receipt is available by request - simply email us with your order number.
Will my Card details be safe?
We take the greatest effort to ensure the highest possible standards of online security.
We use Sagepay Secure Ordering Systems to process credit card payments from customers. We do not store any credit card information on our systems or at our premises. Sagepay are the UKs leading Secure Payment Service providers and have been accredited by the UK's leading high street banks. Sagepay are leaders in the provision of safe, secure online transactions. Sagepay 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address. All credit card information is entered on Sagepay's secure systems and transactions are processed in real time. At no time is any card information held on our servers.
All card payments are made to Handy Candy Ltd. This is the name you will see on your credit card or bank statement.
