How to use Handy Candy
Shopping at Handy Candy is really easy. As you look through
our store you can click to add items to your basket. When
you've finished shopping you simply proceed to the checkout
where we will take all the details we need from you to process
your order.
If you experience any difficulties using the site, whether
you're buying or just looking, please do let us know and we'll
look into it.
Prices, Postage & Packing
The costs shown for our products include VAT at 17.5%.
We charge our postage at cost price or cheaper, ensuring
you get maximum value for money. For full details of our postage
options see Delivery Info. Our
hamper descriptions show an approximate weight of the total
package. This is a guide only to help our customers keep track
of the delivery charge. This is not the exact weight of sweets
you will receive.
We cannot be held responsible for delayed delivery or non-delivery
by the courier company or Royal Mail if the delivery address
given is unclear or incorrect, or if the recipient fails to
rearrange delivery/collection. We simply send to the address
you give us. If a delivery is returned to us by the courier
for these reasons there will be an additional delivery charge
to resend.
If you request the next day/named day delivery service (applicable
to UK mainland deliveries only) and Business Post fail to deliver on
the date requested, then we will automatically refund you,
the customer, £3. This is the difference between our
regular delivery charge of £3.99 and the next day/named
day charge. Failed delivery as a result of incorrect, incomplete
or unclear address information, or as a result of the recipient
not being at the address to sign for the package is not covered.
As per the dispatch email we send customers when their order leaves us, we strongly recommend that you follow up within 3 working days (UK orders only) if your order hasn't been received. You can do this with us, Business Post (if sent via courier) or with your local Royal Mail Post Office. Please refer to your dispatch email for full details. If you're ordering 350g of sweets or less then the goods
may be packaged in a padded envelope. If you're ordering
more than 350g of sweets then the goods will packaged in a
postal box. All our hampers come packaged in gift boxes. Gift
boxes can be purchased separately for individual sweet selections
- these hold approximately £14 of sweets. However, if
we can't fit all your sweets in the gift box you have purchased
we will put the remainder in a regular postal box.
We will not resend orders not received to overseas destinations, we will only offer a refund.
Transportation & Storage of Sweets
Handy Candy only sends out the best quality products to our
customers. However we cannot accept responsibility for damage
caused by climatic conditions or transportation once the goods
have left our premises.
Upon receipt, to ensure your sweets remain in the good condition,
store them in a cool, dry place. We also recommend that they're
consumed within four weeks to be enjoyed at their best.
Out of Stock
If your product is temporarily out of stock we will email
you advising how long it will be before it's back in stock
with the option to choose an alternative or cancel your order.
If you want to wait for your chosen sweet then we will hold
your order until it can be sent in its entirety. Occasionly if an item is out of stock hamper contents may differ slightly from the photograph, however a full accurate list of hamper contents is always displayed.
Nuts, Vegetarians & Ingredients
We stock a huge range of sweets from many different manufacturers.
This means we cannot guarantee that our products are free
of nuts or nut traces.
If you're vegetarian, please be aware that our products may
contain gelatin.
Our products may contain colour, flavouring and preservatives.
If you would like to know specific ingredients for individual
products before buying please contact us.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee that you'll be enormously happy with your purchase
so if for any reason it doesn't meet your expectations please
let us know. Return the goods to us, within seven days of
receipt, stating clearly details of your complaint and we
will refund you or replace your sweets with no quibbles or

For your own peace of mind we recommend you use recorded
delivery when returning goods to us. We will respond to all
complaints and returns within five working days.

We take the greatest effort to ensure the highest possible

We use Protx Secure Ordering Systems to process credit card
payments from customers. We do not store any credit card information
on our systems or at our premises. Protx are one of the UKs
