Barratt's Nougat

This nougat is just incredible!!!! I particularly enjoy the wide girth of this gooey delight, so great to chomp on!! and the nuts kick in just when you least expect it! also suitable for cougars, Nougat bars are a sensational PIECE of confectionary! 10/10..

This is not a gourmet nougat and you don't expect it to be at this price. It's about the same difference between fry's turkish delight and real lokum.The pink half was very chewy and reminded me of eating strawberry chewits. The white part was more like real nougat and had some coconut and peanut flavour - it was mild and not overpowering. I preferred eating each half separately.It did take me 3 sittings to finish as it is quite sweet but then i take the same amount of sittings for a mars bar.For 39p though, you can't really go wrong...

Mmmm this is L.O.V.E.L.Y! It reminded me of traditional Turkish Delight. Smooth, the chewyness was just right and the peanuts just finished it off perfectly. Although I couldn\'t eat a huge amount of this in one sitting, it\'s something I will return to over and over again. 9.5/10..
