10K Run - 10.30am start
3K Family Fun Run - 10.35am start
Handy Candy is proud to sponsor this long running event, now in its 16th year, which is a major fundraiser for the Ashdon Primary School.
The challenging 10K run is primarily off-road, taking the road to Bartlow for approximately 2km and then various farm tracks and footpaths through beautiful, undulating countryside.
The 3K Family Fun Run is one for the whole family – even the dog! The primarily off-road scenic route can be run, jogged or strolled and is pushchair-friendly.
Both runs start and finish at Ashdon Primary School where there are changing facilities, toilets, a water station, first aid and refreshments.
Medals are awarded to every finisher with trophy presentations made to those who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd (male and female) in the 10K run; and 1st, 2nd and 3rd (boy and girl) under 16* in the 3K Family Fun Run, plus trophies for the 1st Ashdon School boy and girl.
Closing date for entering online is Thursday 3 May.
