These sweets looked quite strange. I am not quite sure whether the growth on the top of the mallow is supposed to be a stalk, but it makes them look rather unappetising. They are however more pleasent to eat, they are coated in sugar which gives a nice sweet/sour taste and then you bite in to a soft mallow. The mallow has a strip of apple fllavoured jelly running through it which gives it a nice apple flavour. Generally, the texture is fluffier than that of a normal mallow and not as sticky which is a nice change. The colour is also appealing. The mallows are quite unique in their flavour, they do taste a bit like fizzy apple laces.

These sweets don't actually look that appetising, mainly due to the weak green colour and weird nobbley bit on the end. However, the fluffiness of these mallows is wonderful, topped off by a crisp sugar coating - the sweet is far more more sophisticated than your regular foam/mallow sweet. The fruity apple centre is nice, but not strong enough for me - I would have preferred a stronger 'hit'. However, if you eat several one after another, the flavour does develop and become stronger. Would buy again 7/10.
